As for the other renovations underway-- I counted three, or was it four?, kitchen flooring, window treatments, area rugs, and throw pillows were all under discussion. What I love about each of the choices I saw was how they all connected to the mid-century vibe of the house without being kitchy or dated. Instead, they took the lines and colors of the past, pulling them through to the present in exciting and inventive ways.

Too kind! Actually that 60s builders special was a 1990 redo - I have a sneaking suspicion the original was way better (the original builder was awesome!)
I'm sure you're right-- though that shower stall was the exact same one my parents had in their master bath, circa 1967. Either way, yours is superior!
Yep, the terrazzo shower pan was an original 1968 beauty - they reused that but took out the loo, tub, original sink and retiled everywhere... and composted the yellow shag carpet in the front yard! Eco-friendly!!!
