This afternoon I took a drive over to Brooklyn to see my sister and her husband's new apartment.
Jenn and
Mike, stand-up comics by trade, have taken to domestic life, no joke. Everything in the apartment was lovely-- from the view on the rooftop deck, down to the color coordinated Christmas tree ornaments. We had a great time walking around the neighborhood, even having brunch at their favorite spot,
12th Street Bar and Grill. After the huevos rancheros and a bloody Mary, Jenn and I got to catch up. Curled up on either side of her comfy couch, we talked about name changes, rustic living, writing projects, art openings, web design, twitter, marriage, romantic post-its, portraits, Aaron Neville, and stray cats. Indeed, it was a cozy Sunday with my sister.
